Exact timing depends on your bank. If you do not see the refund on your statement after the maximum window, contact your bank first (they often have it pending), then reply to our refund confirmation email and we will escalate with the payment processor.
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Most issues can be resolved in a single email and a refund processed the same day. Chargebacks that bypass our refund process may result in account suspension and are disputed based on server-side evidence of service delivery.
If applicable tax was charged on a refundable transaction, the tax portion is also refunded. Razorpay issues the reversal entry, and the amount appears on your statement in the same time window as the principal amount above.
